Message: I've seen Dr. Thorton a few times in the past few years and each time has been a great experience. He has talked me through the procedures and given me some much needed relief from tooth pain!

Message: It has been a few years since I’ve seen Dr. Thornton, but I was just telling someone what a good experience I had and thought I should come leave a review. I developed a painful infection on a tooth that had previously had a root canal done incorrectly by my (then) dentist. Dr. Thornton got me in quickly and redid the procedure. He was kind and explained everything as he went, finishing faster than I thought possible, but with precise skill. When my insurance paid more than expected, his office sent me a refund check—I appreciated their honesty as this was before insurance reform and I wouldn’t have known. After that I vowed to never let a regular dentist do a root canal on me again. I did need one more root canal on another tooth some time later, and the experience with him was even easier.

Message: I was referred to Dr. Thornton for a root canal. I got an appointment very quickly, which was nice because the tooth hurt. I have had horrible experiences with dentists in my life, and I viewed this procedure with trepidation bordering on outright fear. No dental procedure is going to be without some discomfort, but the pain I experienced was maybe 5% of what I expected. That shocked me! He explained everything he was doing as he went, and he was quick to add more numbing agent when I felt a bit of a pinch. I still can’t quite believe it was that easy.. Then the bill came, and my insurance paid a disappointingly small portion of it. Dr. Thornton’s office was very easygoing about establishing a payment plan so that I didn’t have to dig it all out of my savings at once.. I’ve read some of the other reviews, and I’m mystified by the negative ones. I can only think they reviewed the wrong guy by mistake. While I hope to never need this kind of work done again, I would go right back to Dr. Thornton without hesitation.

Message: My husband, daughter and I have all been to Dr Thornton for root canal procedures, and we have all had great experiences. He is professional, quick, and we have had absolutely no problems with any of his work. We will absolutely go back if we need work done in the future.
